The Organization is Vancouver singer/songwriter Adaline and electronic producer Revise. Their recent release, "Neo-Noir", was created in early 2010 when they secluded themselves to a cabin in the woods in the middle of winter in Northern British Columbia, just outside of Prince George. There they hibernated to write and record their imaginative new record which was released online Feb. 9th, 2011. The cabin was converted into a studio and there they remixed the brilliant musical themes from classic Neo-Noir movies such as "Chinatown", "Taxi Driver", "Klute" and "Point Blank" while incorporating original lyrics, melodies, and song structures. After deciding on the musical focus for each movie, the music was reinvented and lyrics were written and adapted based on a character in the film. Once the foundation of the songs were written and recorded they came back to Vancouver to record additional live instrumentation (drums/bass/electric guitar). The sound is a mix of electronic production, real instrumentation and adapted movie themes.
